Rhode Home Rescue is an amazing shelter! My fiancé and I got our wonderful dog, Sally, from them back in August. Being my first dog, I had a ton of questions which Dina was all too happy to answer. She also put be in contact with Linda our dog trainer who did a great job helping us train her. I am so grateful for all Rhode Home Rescue did in getting me Sally!

  I adopted my Ellie from RHR who turned 1 today!! Welcoming a rescue pup into my family has been a wonderful decision. I now foster for Rhode Home Rescue and it has been so fulfilling to help find these beautiful dogs loving families. I have met so many people during this experience with the same goals and each and every one of them is truly amazing. Big hearts, dedicated and caring group. What a wonderful feeling to see that truck pull up with dogs looking for their forever homes and knowing I can be a small part of that. I recommend fostering to everyone and I am always asked the same questions. How do I not get too attached and how do I give them up? Very simple answer. I do get attached but I am their stepping stone on their journey home. I am not giving them up, I am handing them over to their final destination at last. I turn the page but will never forget each and every pup I have loved. This rescue has become part of my family, and the dogs forever in my ❤️.

  I began fostering with RHR earlier this year, even after my first event I could tell what an amazing group of people volunteer their time to make this rescue run smoothly. Their passion is contagious and I quickly wanted to learn and help more! Fast forward a few months and I was given the opportunity to foster the sweetest, sassiest, most loving puppy ever! I fell instantly in love with her and ended up adopting her!! Nadine and the RHR team made the adoption process easy and I knew I was getting the perfect dog to fit into our family. The RHR team goes above and beyond for every dog in their care and helps find them their perfect furever homes! I am SO thankful to be apart of this wonderful team both as a volunteer AND now as an adopter!!!!

Our family lost our fur baby in May due to cancer. We were all heartbroken especially my son. We had tried a bunch of rescues with alot of disappointments. Either they wanted us to pay before we even had a meet and greet or no response. A few of our friends told us about Rhode Home Rescue. They were amazing!!! Their mission is to help all dogs. They even brought a pack n play to me because we needed one for an outing. Then told me to give to someone who needed it when I was done. The smile on my son's face when laying down or playing with her melts my heart. I am so grateful we dealt with this rescue! WE LOVE RHR!❤❤❤❤❤
